HOODLOCK / LEARN

Locking tokens launched on hood.fun.

Published 2026-07-28 · HoodLock Team

hood.fun runs a bonding curve with no presale and no team allocation, and on graduation the token seeds a Uniswap v3 pair whose liquidity is locked permanently. Their own description of the locker is worth quoting: it has "no withdraw function, no owner, and no admin — the code that could move the liquidity simply does not exist."

That is a strong default

Most launchpads lock liquidity for a period. A locker with no withdrawal path at all removes the expiry conversation entirely. There is no date to watch and no team decision to trust. If you launched on hood.fun, the liquidity question is closed and you should say so.

What it doesn't cover

No team allocation means no supply was reserved for you. What you may hold instead is whatever you bought on the curve — the dev buy, and that sits in an ordinary wallet like anyone else's. It is the first thing a holder looks for once they've satisfied themselves about liquidity, precisely because the liquidity answer here is so clean.

A creator buy that stays liquid isn't wrong. It just leaves the one open question on an otherwise closed book, and the holder list makes it visible whether you mention it or not.

Doing it

  1. Copy your token's contract address from its page on hood.fun.
  2. Open HoodLock with the wallet holding the tokens.
  3. Pick the token, the amount and a date. For vesting, add the beneficiary and an optional cliff.
  4. Approve, confirm, and share the proof link.

Flat 0.005 ETH either way, no percentage of the tokens, and a proof page that reads live from the chain and opens without a wallet.

Which pool you ended up in

hood.fun graduates to Uniswap v3, where a liquidity position is an NFT rather than an ERC-20. That means the position itself can't be locked with HoodLock, though in this case hood.fun has already locked it far more firmly than we could. Tokens are ERC-20 and can be locked or vested normally.

Common questions

Does hood.fun lock liquidity?

Yes, permanently. Tokens that complete the curve graduate to a Uniswap v3 pair whose liquidity is locked by a contract with no withdraw function, no owner and no admin, so there is no date on which it becomes withdrawable.

Are creator tokens locked on hood.fun?

There is no team allocation to lock — hood.fun launches without presales or reserved supply. What a creator may hold is tokens bought on the bonding curve, and those sit in an ordinary wallet with nothing preventing a sale.

Can I lock a hood.fun token with HoodLock?

Yes. Any ERC-20 on Robinhood Chain can be locked or vested, including one launched through hood.fun. The graduated liquidity position is a Uniswap v3 NFT and is already permanently locked by hood.fun itself.
