How we count

Value locked is what HoodLock's contracts hold or have destroyed for somebody right now: token locks that have not been withdrawn (including ones past their unlock date that nobody has collected), tokens burned through HoodLock, vesting tokens nobody has claimed yet, and Uniswap V3 and V4 positions in the Liquidity Locker. Each token is priced from its own on-chain pool on Robinhood Chain, converted to ETH and then to USD at the current ETH price. A token whose pool is too thin to give a real price counts as zero: 20 of 387 held tokens at the last reading.

DefiLlama tracks HoodLock independently on its HoodLock protocol page. It uses its own price sources and its own rules for what counts, and many Robinhood Chain tokens have no DefiLlama price, so its figure is lower than HoodLock's own. Both figures are shown so neither has to be taken on trust.

Counts of locks, burns and vesting schedules come from each contract's own counter, so they cannot be short because an index is behind. Active locks and unique wallets are counted from the token locker's records. Tokens with live locks or vesting counts tokens with a lock before its unlock date, unvested tokens or a locked Uniswap position, from the same snapshot as the public feed below.

The same records are published as JSON for chart sites, scanners and bots. No key is needed; requests are rate limited and the snapshot behind them refreshes about once a minute.
