FOBO integrates the HoodLock token locker.

Published 2026-11-07 · HoodLock Team

FOBO, the floor-price launchpad on Robinhood Chain, has integrated the HoodLock token locker. Creators who launch on FOBO can now lock their tokens without leaving the FOBO flow, and every lock lands in the same HoodLock locker contract, with the same public proof page, as a lock made on hoodlock.tech. FOBO's own site now carries "Locks by HoodLock" in its footer.

There is one difference, and it is in the creator's favour: half of the lock fee comes back as $FOBO.

What FOBO does on its own

FOBO is built around a price floor. In its own words, every coin "keeps enough locked to buy back its whole circulating supply", and every trade pushes that floor up. A few other things it does by design, according to fobo.fun:

So what is left to lock on a FOBO coin?

Not the liquidity. FOBO already handles that more firmly than a term lock could, and HoodLock's token locker holds ERC-20 tokens, not pool positions.

What is left is the tokens a creator holds: the opening buy, a team or marketing bag, tokens set aside for the community. Those sit in an ordinary wallet, and they are exactly what buyers look at on the holder list. A large wallet with no lock reads as a sell waiting to happen. The same wallet with a public lock to a date reads as a commitment anyone can check.

How locking through FOBO works

  1. On FOBO, choose to lock your tokens and set the amount and the unlock date.
  2. Approve the HoodLock locker contract to take that amount.
  3. Sign the lock and pay the flat 0.005 ETH fee. There is no percentage of your tokens.
  4. The lock confirms on Robinhood Chain and gets a proof page at hoodlock.tech/proof/lock/<id>.
  5. A few seconds later, half the fee (0.0025 ETH) buys $FOBO, which is sent to the wallet that locked. Nothing to sign and nothing to claim.

The locker is the same contract every HoodLock lock uses, 0xd0f7d8c6e9f6d80c297bebe4f7fd1b9c8125c32f, verified on Blockscout. Tokens come out only after the unlock date. A lock can be extended but never shortened, and nobody, HoodLock included, can release it early.

Vesting works the same way. A vesting schedule created through FOBO also earns the $FOBO cashback, paid to the wallet that created and paid for the schedule, never to the beneficiary.

Already live

The first creators have already locked through FOBO. Each lock below opens a proof page that reads straight from the chain and needs no wallet:

Launch week: featured free. Until 2026-11-14 at 14:54 UTC, every token locked through FOBO is also placed at the top of HoodLock Explore for 12 hours, free. That placement normally costs $200.

Locking directly on HoodLock

Nothing changes for anyone who locks on hoodlock.tech: same contract, same fee, same proof page. The $FOBO cashback only applies to locks made through FOBO's flow, because that is how a lock is matched to FOBO's integration.

Common questions

Has FOBO integrated a token locker?

Yes. fobo.fun has integrated the HoodLock token locker, so creators can lock tokens from the FOBO launch flow. The lock is held by the HoodLock locker contract on Robinhood Chain and gets a public proof page.

How much does it cost to lock through FOBO?

The same flat 0.005 ETH HoodLock fee as locking directly, with no percentage of your tokens. Half of that fee, 0.0025 ETH, buys $FOBO that is sent back to the wallet that locked.

Who receives the $FOBO cashback?

The wallet that made the lock, a few seconds after the lock confirms, with nothing to claim. For a vesting schedule made through FOBO it goes to the wallet that created and paid for the schedule, not the beneficiary.

Does FOBO lock liquidity?

Yes. According to FOBO, no LP tokens are minted and every pool is owned by an immutable hook contract with no withdraw function, so the liquidity is locked forever. What a creator can still lock is the tokens they hold.

Can a HoodLock lock be withdrawn early?

No. The locker contract releases tokens only after the unlock date. The owner can extend a lock but never shorten it.
