Proof badge.
One image tag. It reads your token's records from Robinhood Chain every few minutes, says what is actually true, and links to the page where anyone can check it themselves.
Add it to your site#
Two lines. Replace the address with your token's, and the link with your token page. Nothing to install, no key, no script of ours running on your site.

</a>Your token page already shows the exact snippet with your address filled in. Open it and copy from there rather than editing this one by hand.
What it says#
The badge reports one of four states. It never guesses, and it never stays green out of politeness: a lock that has lapsed changes the badge, which is the entire reason it is worth something to the person reading it.
| State | When | Colour |
|---|---|---|
10.00% of supply | At least one lock still holds tokens. Shows the share of total supply. | Green |
3 locks | Locks still hold, but the token's supply could not be read, so a share cannot be stated. | Green |
no active lock | Records exist, but every one has been withdrawn or has run out. | Amber |
not locked | No lock, burn or vesting record on HoodLock for this token. | Grey |
unavailable | We could not read just now. Deliberately not the same as “not locked”. | Grey |
The amber state is the point of the badge. A project whose lock expired cannot keep displaying the badge it had while the lock held, because the image is served from here and changes on its own. That is what makes it evidence rather than decoration.
How fresh it is#
The badge is cached for five minutes. A lock you create now appears on it within that window, and a badge on a busy page costs your visitors one small cached image rather than a request to us each time.
Why an image and not a script#
The embed widget is a different tool: it puts a working lock, burn or vesting flow on your page, with a wallet connection and an API key. The badge does the opposite job. It makes a claim about a token and points at the proof, so it is a plain image inside a link that works in a README, a docs page, a Notion page or a site builder that will not let you run JavaScript.
- No key, no account and no script of ours on your page.
- Renders wherever an
<img>renders, including GitHub. - The link is a real link, so a reader and a crawler both reach the proof.
If the badge says something you did not expect#
| It shows | What to check |
|---|---|
not locked on a token you locked | The address in the image URL must be the token's contract, not your wallet and not the LP pair. Paste it into the explorer to confirm we hold records for it. |
no active lock | Every lock on the token has been withdrawn, or its unlock date has passed. Extending or creating a lock turns it green again. |
unavailable | A read failed on our side. It clears by itself; the badge says so rather than claiming the token is unlocked. |
The badge only reflects HoodLock's own contracts. Tokens locked with another service, or liquidity burned directly, are real but not ours to report. How a proof works covers what a HoodLock record does and does not prove.
