HoodLock / Pons liquidity lock
Pons · Robinhood Chain

Is Pons liquidity on Robinhood Chain locked?

Yes. A Pons V2 token that graduates from its bonding curve gets a Uniswap V4 pool whose launch position is held by a Pons contract that can never release it, and a Pons V1 token's Uniswap V3 launch position is held the same way. What that does not cover is liquidity added afterwards and the tokens in creators' wallets. That part you can lock with HoodLock.

The short answer

ANSWER

Every graduated Pons V2 token's launch position is held by PonsV2LaunchLocker (0x2674…4952), and every Pons V1 token's by PonsLaunchLocker (0x736D…7F35). Neither verified contract has a function that removes liquidity, so nobody, not the creator and not Pons, can pull the launch position.

Check any token in one search

Paste a token address into the liquidity lock checker. It reads the Pons lockers on Robinhood Chain and tells you which Pons version launched the token, which position Pons holds and whether the token is still on its bonding curve, next to any liquidity locked on HoodLock.

Pons V1 and V2 side by side

Pons V2 (current)

Tokens start on a bonding curve. At graduation the factory mints a full-range Uniswap V4 position straight into PonsV2LaunchLocker, which records it with lockedPositions(token) and isLocked(token). Fees are handled by the Pons hook and fee escrow, not by the locker.

Pons V1

Tokens launch into a Uniswap V3 pool. PonsLaunchLocker holds the position NFT and can only call collect on it, which pays out trading fees, split between the creator (or a wallet they redirect to) and a Pons protocol share capped at 50% in the contract. It never removes liquidity.

Before graduation (V2)

A token still on the bonding curve has no Uniswap pool and no position yet. Its trades go through the curve contract, and the lock happens at graduation.

Earlier Pons tokens

Some early V1-style launches sit in an older locker (0x31ca…54B5) that emits the same events as PonsLaunchLocker but whose source is not verified on Blockscout. We cannot confirm from its code that it has no release path, so the checker says so for those tokens.

How to verify it yourself

Find the pool

Open the token on the Robinhood Chain explorer and find its pool: Uniswap V4 with the PonsV2MemeHook for V2 tokens, Uniswap V3 for V1 tokens.

Find the launch position

For V2, read lockedPositions(token) on PonsV2LaunchLocker. For V1, read getLaunchedToken(token) on PonsLaunchLocker, which returns the position id. The position NFT is owned by the locker.

Read the locker

Both verified sources show no withdraw or release function. The V1 locker can only collect fees. A position that goes in stays in.

Check what else is there

Any other position in the pool belongs to whoever added it, and they can remove it whenever they like.

What Pons does not lock

Liquidity added after launch

Anyone, the creator included, can add their own position to a Pons pool. It is theirs and unlocked until they lock it.

Creator and team tokens

Tokens sitting in wallets are the next thing buyers check on the holder list. Locking or vesting them answers that question.

Your own deeper liquidity

Adding depth to a Pons pool and locking it shows holders the extra liquidity is not about to leave.

Fees keep coming

A locked position keeps earning its share of trading fees. HoodLock takes 25% of what you collect.

Lock the rest with HoodLock

Liquidity you added to a Pons pool is a Uniswap V4 position, and the HoodLock Liquidity Locker holds it until your date while you keep collecting its fees. The Pons hook only acts on trades, so these positions lock like any other.

Tokens go through the token locker, and team allocations can be released over time with vesting. Every lock and schedule gets a public proof link.

Common questions

Can a Pons creator remove the launch liquidity?

No. A graduated V2 position is held by PonsV2LaunchLocker and a V1 position by PonsLaunchLocker. Neither has a function that can release it.

Is Pons V1 liquidity locked too?

Yes. A Pons V1 token's Uniswap V3 launch position is held by PonsLaunchLocker, which can collect its trading fees but has no function that removes the liquidity.

How do I check a specific Pons token?

Paste its address into the HoodLock liquidity lock checker. It reads the Pons lockers on-chain and shows the Pons version, the position Pons holds, or that the token is still on its bonding curve.

Does HoodLock lock Pons launch liquidity?

No, and it does not need to: Pons already locks it permanently. HoodLock is for liquidity added afterwards and for tokens.

Can I lock liquidity I added to a Pons pool?

Yes. It is a Uniswap V4 position, and the Liquidity Locker holds it until your date while you keep collecting fees. HoodLock takes 25% of what you collect.

Does the Pons hook affect a locked position?

The Pons hook takes its fee on trades. It cannot act on the liquidity in your position, and withdrawing from HoodLock never calls it.

How do holders see my lock?

Every lock gets a public proof page with the pair, amounts, price range and unlock date, read from the chain. Share the link anywhere.

Lock liquidity you added

Pick the position, choose the date, sign twice. The contract is verified on the explorer and cannot be upgraded.
